Is my initial consultation free?
How do I confirm my insurance plan?
You will be requested to present your insurance information upon arrival. Insurance companies require a preauthorization be done prior to commencement of treatment.
Do I have to pay up front?
If your insurance is preauthorized then payment or portion thereof is not required. Subsequently, if you wish to pay up front without authorization then that is your choice.
I am a senior and have Blue Cross. How does it work?
Book your consultation and your Blue Cross can be verified immediately on your first visit. Most seniors have 100% coverage!
What is the best denture cleaner available?
In my opinion it is a product called Renew. It is available at my clinic and works two-fold over any commercial product.
How often should I see Leon?
Dentures should be replaced every 5 to 7 years depending on your lifestyle, chewing patterns and food choices. Dentures and partials should be relined every 2 to 3 years.
How long does it take to get new dentures?
Usually 2 to 3 weeks from start to finish unless you need them done quickly or have lost or broken your existing dentures. It is possible to have your case fast tracked and done in 2 days.
If I get relines done, how does it work?
Typically, the patient is booked in first thing in the morning and the denture(s) finished and inserted by lunch time.
How long does a repair take?
Most take about a half hour; however it depends on the severity and complexity of the repair.
